Our Pork comes from Gellings farm Barroose Lane in Baldrine where Mark Baines of Gellings Free Range Eggs has successfully introduced free range Pigs to his farm. As the name suggests, this is a large black pig! In fact it is Britains only all black pig. A good all round pork pig best known for its succulent joints. Mark's pigs are kept outdoors in woodland where they are allowed to grow at a natural pace, maturing much more slowly. This results in pork which has a greater depth of flavour, is succulent, tender and juicy.
Belly Pork is well known for its sweet juicy meat. Delicious as a roast, especially from our free range pork where the skin crackles up a treat! Cook slowly to achieve perfection
Our Minced Pork is very lean and therefore a healthy option. It can be substituted for beef in many recipies and can also be used to make your own pork and apple burgers
